Guided tour and meal in Bereziartua

EXPERIENCE

It is a temple of large wooden barrels, a cider house where wood and steel merge. We will get to know the elaboration area through the large kupeltegi (cellar). These barrels will be the guardians of our journey. We will taste their cider by opening and closing the barrels in the traditional way, as it was done in the past. In narrow corridors we will walk from door to door, with the huge barrels watching over our path. The tour ends with an extensive tasting session: organic cider, Euskal Sagardoa, Gourmet cider, organic apple juice... A wide range of natural ciders carefully produced in this house. Finally, we will enjoy the traditional cider house menu: homemade pintxo, cod omelet, fried cod, T-bone steak and Idiazabal cheese with quince jelly and walnuts.

TOUR

We will meet at Bereziartua Cider House in Astigarraga for a guided visit. We will explore the corners of the house and learn about the cider-making process and the family history. Cider varieties will be explained and tasted directly from the barrels and bottles. Finally, you will enjoy a traditional cider house menu.
