Educational Activities in the Apple Orchards of the Basque Country
We offer outdoor educational activities for school groups in various municipalities of Gipuzkoa. These activities take place during the apple season, in autumn, when the orchards are at their best, and provide a unique experience for students to discover the natural process of cultivation, harvesting, and traditional cider production. Through participatory dynamics adapted to each age group, we encourage learning about the rural environment, sustainability, and local traditions, in a natural setting that invites observation, experimentation, and enjoyment.

From the Orchard to the Classroom: A Learning-Through-Enjoyment Experience
During the educational sessions, students participate in practical workshops about apples, where they learn to recognize local varieties, how to care for them, and their importance in the Basque landscape. The experience culminates with the collective preparation of natural juice, which the children taste freshly made, enjoying the authentic flavor of the fruit.
After the visit, we collaborate with schools through specific teaching units, allowing students to deepen the content covered in the orchard and consolidate learning in a playful and meaningful way.
