Euskadi Gastronomika Award for the "Salty Valley and Cider Cellar" experience
On February 26, 2024 we attended the great event "Euskadi Gastronomika Festa" organized by Euskadi Gastronomika at the Ficoba fairground. There, Sagardoa Route, the project that we have created with so much care, was awarded the Euskadi Gastronomika award.
We have shared the award we have received with Añana Salt Valley, thanks to a new experience that we have created in collaboration. Sagardoa Route and the Añana Salt Valley have come together to create a wonderful day experience: a unique experience that combines immersing yourself in the Salt Valley of Añana and enjoying a cider cellar producing Euskal Sagardoa cider.
Thanks to this combined experience, we will be able to learn about the history and taste two of the products that have been made for thousands of years in Euskadi: Añana salt and cider, all accompanied by the traditional menu offered by the cider house: cod omelette, fried cod with peppers, T-bone steak, Idiazabal cheese, quince and walnuts.
We want to thank Euskadi Gastronomika, the network promoted by the Department of Commerce, Consumption and Tourism of the Basque Government and the Basque Tourism Agency, Basquetour, for continuing to support and promote the gastronomic traditions of Euskadi. Thank you!
