The Geopark of the Basque Coast stands between the Bay of Biscay and the Basque mountains inland. You will enjoy a unique landscape with striking rock formations, cliffs and sandy beaches where episodes of the series “Game of Thrones” have been shot.

We leave San Sebastian for Zumaia to see one of the most beautiful features of our coast: the Flysch rock formations. You will be able to see the spectacular Geopark of the Basque Coast from a new and not very well-known angle. The fresh air of our Cantabrian sea will be mixed with the aromas of our products, txakoli and cider.

We will visit a Txakoli winery, where we will taste this white wine very typical of the Basque coast together with some "pintxos" (snacks) made with local products. The trip continues through the landscape until we reach the Cider House. You will get to know the family that runs it and the steps required to make Basque cider will be explained. You will then taste the product, first in the bottle and then sitting down to a traditional cider house menu. We will later return to San Sebastian so that you can continue to enjoy our land.

Our guide will meet you at number 2, Bengoetxea street in Donostia-San Sebastian. We will visit the Flysch at Zumaia and then continue with the visit to a Txakoli winery with a txakoli and pintxo tasting. Then, we will visit one of our Cider Houses for a short tour of the orchard and the other parts. This visit will be livened up by a cider tasting session, both from the bottle and from the barrel. Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional Cider House menu.
