ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP & CIDER CELLAR

EXPERIENCE

If you want to know what it feels like to be a rower for a day, come to the Olympic Rowing Club! We will meet at the Oria estuary in the town of Orio for the rowing activity. We will visit Arraunetxea to learn about the history of rowing, and then, with the help of our instructor, we will board the trainera and row through the estuary. The activity lasts approximately 2 hours. Afterwards, we will visit a traditional Basque cider house and enjoy the “txotx” ritual of tasting cider directly from the barrel, followed by a traditional cider house menu.

Tour

We will meet at the client’s requested location and head to Arraunetxea in Orio. After instructions from the guide, we will go down to the river and row a trainera for about 1.5 hours. To complete the experience, we will go to a cider house to enjoy a guided visit, cider tasting, and a traditional meal.
