CONDITIONS

We will start our visit in the chocolate shop, where Lorena and Miren will be waiting for us to show us the inside of the shop and how their products are made. Afterwards, we will go to the workshop, where we will have a chocolate workshop. We will make an apple bonbon and we will have the opportunity to discover the relationship between cider and chocolate. Once the workshop is over, we will go to a cider maker. Here we will be able to visit the cider making area, the apple orchard and go inside the house. The old tools will tell us the history of the cider maker, and while we go through the tunnels of the cellar, we will taste the cider that the family makes with so much care from the barrels. To round off the visit we will have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional cider house menu: homemade pintxo, cod omelet, fried cod, T-bone steak and Idiazabal cheese with walnuts and quince jelly.

DETAILS

Our guide will meet you at the reception of your hotel to take you to the chocolate shop. We will mmet the owners to start the visit tasting the home-made hot chocolate, the we will visit the shop and we will do the chocolate workshop. When we finish at the chocolate shop, we will go to the cider maker. We will visit the corners of the cider maker and talk about the production and elaboration of cider. We will learn about the details of each cider and, finally, we will have the opportunity to taste a traditional cider house menu.
